Manor Cottage
Manor Cottage is my place in Findon. It's a one-bedroom annexe attached to the main house, but you have your own front door and it's completely separate. It sleeps two. There's a small, enclosed patio out the back that's just for you.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's clean and it works. The bed is a double. The shower is an electric one, it's fine, good pressure. The kitchen has the basics: a two-ring hob, a combi microwave oven, and a small fridge. There's a TV and WiFi.
Findon itself is a quiet village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs about a five-minute walk away. The village is right on the South Downs Way, so you can walk straight out onto the hills. You often see people riding horses on the gallops. For a bigger shop, Worthing is about ten minutes drive south.
It's a good spot for getting out. Arundel Castle is about twenty minutes by car. The coast at Worthing is close, or you can drive along to Shoreham or Brighton. You can bring one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the shared driveway.
