The Old Packhouse
The Old Packhouse is in Ashurst, West Sussex. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so everything's on one level. That's useful if stairs are a problem. It's detached and looks out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside, it's comfortable and clean. There's underfloor heating and a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You get a private garden with a patio and a BBQ. Parking is right outside.
It's a quiet, rural spot. The nearest shop is about a mile away. There are a couple of pubs serving food within two miles.
The South Downs are right on the doorstep for walking. The coast is about a 15 minute drive. Worthing beach is that way, or you can go to Brighton if you want more going on.
Arundel is close, maybe 20 minutes by car. The castle is worth a look. Chichester is about half an hour away, with the cathedral and Goodwood. For more days out, there are several National Trust places within a 30 minute drive, like Petworth House and Uppark.
Facilities: it has WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
