Lychgate Cottage is in Henfield. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It's in our garden, but it's got its own door and a private patio. You won't see us unless you need to.
It's all on one level, which makes it simple. The kitchen is a galley with a big glass roof, so it's very bright. The bedroom is off the living room and has an ensuite shower. The stairs to the main house are next to the cottage, but they're not for guest use, so you won't be disturbed.
You're about a five-minute walk from the high street. There's a Co-op, a few shops, and some pubs that do food. Right behind us is the village church. You can see it from the patio, and you're welcome to cut through our garden to get to it.
For walking, the Downs Link path is very close. It’s an old railway line, so it's flat. You can go south towards the South Downs or north into the countryside. Devil's Dyke is about a twenty-minute drive away. The views from there are incredible.
Brighton is maybe half an hour by car, depending on traffic. Lewes and Arundel are about the same distance the other way. Arundel Castle is worth a trip if you like that sort of thing.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can put a cot in the living room if you need one.
