Lychgate Cottage
Lychgate Cottage is in Henfield. It's in our garden, but it's got its own entrance and a private patio. You'd have your own space.
It's a one-bedroom place for two people. Everything's on one level, which is handy. The kitchen has a glass roof so it's quite bright. The bedroom is fine, it leads off the living room and has its own shower. The stairs to the main house behind us are steep, but you won't need to use them.
You can walk into the village in a few minutes. There's a Co-op, a butcher, a few cafes. The church is right behind the cottage, you can see the tower from the garden. You're welcome to cut through our garden to have a look.
For walking, the Downs Link path runs through the village. It's an old railway line, so it's flat. You can go south towards the South Downs or north into the Weald.
It's about a 20-minute drive to Devil's Dyke on the Downs. The views are good up there. Brighton is half an hour away if you want the shops or the sea. Arundel is about the same distance, the castle is worth seeing.
In the cottage there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in if you need one. No pets, I'm afraid.
