This is Shepherds Cottage in Steyning. It's a one bedroom cottage for two people. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable but not luxurious.
The cottage is in the middle of the town. The front door opens onto the street by the Clock Tower. Out the back, the garden looks straight out at the South Downs. You get both.
It was built in 1851 for shepherds. The stairs are tight and steep, which is normal for a cottage this old. The fireplace in the sitting room doesn't work, it's just decorative. There's a conservatory at the back with a table. The bathroom has a rolltop bath.
The garden has a gate that leads onto playing fields, so you can walk straight out onto the green. A few minutes walk the other way and you're on the High Street. There are shops, cafes, and pubs there.
For days out, you can walk up to Chanctonbury Ring from the back of the cottage. It's about three miles. Bramber Castle ruins are nearby, which is an English Heritage site. The coast at Shoreham is about seven miles away.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a slimline dishwasher, WiFi, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
