The Barton
The Barton is in Steyning. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms.
The rating is 5 Star. It's been done up well. It's big, over three floors. The stairs are normal.
You get three different bits of garden to sit in at the back, all with tables and chairs. There's a fire pit. At the front there's a big private driveway.
There's a separate games room and a sports court you can use for tennis or badminton. The kitchen is modern and large. All bedrooms have good storage. Two have Smart TVs. One bathroom has a big shower cubicle with jets.
It's set up for wheelchair access at the entrance.
Steyning is about a ten minute walk away. It's a nice market town with a high street. You've got shops, a supermarket, a butcher, cafes, and pubs there. It's on the edge of the South Downs.
The coast is about five miles away. Shoreham-by-Sea is a ten minute drive. It has a harbour, a fort, cafes, and Shoreham Beach. Brighton is half an hour's drive for a day out. Arundel with its castle, Pulborough RSPB nature reserve, and the Bluebell Railway are all within about 30 minutes.
For planning walks or days out in the area, the South Downs National Park site is useful, as is the National Trust South East page.
Facilities: everything's included like bedding, towels, electricity. There's WiFi, TVs, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot. Parking on site. No pets.
