Seaside Place
This place is Seaside Place, in Shoreham by Sea. It's right on the beach, so you can walk out onto the shingle. It's a big house, sleeps 12. There are five bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing, really. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is a bit unusual. Four of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. Two of those have en-suites that feel a bit tucked away. The fifth bedroom is upstairs. Upstairs is where the main living area is: kitchen, dining, and a big sitting room with big windows looking out to sea. There's a balcony off it. The view is the point, you look straight out at the water.
Downstairs, there's also a second kitchen with doors that open out. It's useful if you've got a big group. There's a hot tub in the garden. The driveway is large, plenty of parking.
You're on the beach, so you can just go straight out. It's shingle. Shoreham Beach Nature Reserve is good for a walk. The town centre is a short drive or a decent walk away. There's a local pub. The Ropetackle Arts Centre has things on. The footbridge over the river is a nice walk for views.
For days out, Brighton's about 20 minutes up the coast. The South Downs National Park is on your doorstep for walking. Arundel, with the castle, is maybe half an hour's drive west.
Facilities: everything's included like bedding and towels. There's Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher. A cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs.
