The village of Hutton-le-Hole is known as one of the most picturesque villages within the North York Moors, with a clear stream flowing through the middle where the wide green is kept tidy by the local sheep community. There is a pub and tearoom within easy walking distance as well as the very popular Ryedale Folk Museum, where a wealth of traditional buildings from the area have been rescued from destruction and rebuilt to include Elizabethan manors, barns, and thatched cottages. With Helmsley and Pickering just a short drive away, you have instant access to a regular market, independent shops, cafés, and a variety of traditional pubs serving homemade food. The stunning North York Moors is literally on your doorstep meaning you have a perfect opportunity to explore the area by foot or bike with the national park full of bike trails and fantastic, scenic walks.
