It's called Swallows. It's a barn conversion near Borgue, in Dumfries and Galloway. It's up a quiet lane and looks out over fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's a five star, so it's comfortable and well-fitted. The main room has high ceilings and big doors out to a conservatory. The conservatory leads to your own enclosed garden.
There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The nearest pub is about two miles away. A shop and places to eat are in Kirkcudbright, about five miles. Kirkcudbright is the main town here, it's an artists' place by the harbour.
The coast is close. You can be at a beach in under ten minutes. The area is part of Galloway Forest Park, which is a Dark Sky Park, so the stars on a clear night are something else.
For walks, there's coastal path and forest tracks right from the door. Threave Garden is nearby. If you want to go a bit further, you can drive into the heart of the Galloway hills in about half an hour.
