Carin Dyke is one of four lodges on the farm here. It's a working arable farm, so you'll see tractors and the like. The lodge is detached and looks out over the fields to the sea. The view is the main thing. There are big windows in the living area so you can sit and look at it.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star lodge, so it's well finished. Everything is comfortable and clean. It's open plan downstairs.
You're about two miles from Gatehouse of Fleet. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant there. The Mill on the Fleet is a visitor centre if you want local information. Cardoness Castle is just outside the town.
The coast is close. Mossyard and Carrick beaches are sandy and about a ten-minute drive. Good for a walk or if you've got kids. For activities, Laggan Outdoor Activity Centre is nearby and has a long zip wire.
Further afield, Kirkcudbright is about twenty minutes by car. It's got a nice harbour. The Galloway Forest Park is inland, maybe half an hour. It's a Dark Sky Park, so the stars are good on a clear night. The 7Stanes mountain bike trails are in that area too.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
