No 7 is a first floor apartment in Gatehouse of Fleet. It's in the middle of the village, set back from the main road above a shop. You sleep three people.
It's a two bedroom place. One double and one single. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. Everything was redone a few years ago, so it's clean and works properly. The beds are comfortable. You get the use of a small bit of communal garden with a bench.
The village is quiet now but it's a good spot. There's a shop about twenty yards from the front door. A pub and a place to eat are about two hundred yards away.
The coast is close. Nice beaches like Mossyard and Carrick are a few minutes' drive. For walking, you've got the Galloway Forest Park nearby. It's a Dark Sky Park, so the stars are good on a clear night. Cyclists might know the 7Stanes trails at Kirroughtree and Dalbeattie, which are very close.
Kirkcudbright is about a fifteen minute drive. It's an artist's town with a decent harbour. You've got Cardoness Castle just outside the village, and Threave Garden is about a twenty minute drive.
Inside, there's a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
