Willow
This is Willow. It's a cottage in Gatehouse of Fleet, which is a quiet village in south west Scotland. The house sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well kitted out. There's a multi-fuel burner for a fire in the evenings. The bath is a good, deep one. The kitchen is spacious and has decent appliances. You've also got a washing machine and a dishwasher. There's parking right outside.
The village itself is quiet now, but it has an interesting history with mills. The old mill is now a visitor centre with exhibitions. You've got a shop about 100 yards away, and a pub and restaurant are even closer, just 20 yards down the street.
The coast is only a few minutes' drive. Mossyard and Carrick beaches are good. For walking, you've got everything from coastal paths to forest trails. The area is great for cycling and mountain biking, with Kirroughtree and Dalbeattie forests nearby.
Further out, you're close to the Galloway Forest Park, which is a Dark Sky Park. Kirkcudbright, the 'artists' town', is a short drive and has a nice harbour. The National Trust's Threave Gardens are also within easy reach.
