Park Cottage
Park Cottage is on the edge of Gatehouse of Fleet. It's in the grounds of the Cally Palace Hotel. You get the 600 acres of Fleet Oak Woods right outside. The woods are good for a walk straight from the front door.
It sleeps twelve. Five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The stairs are normal. The garden is enclosed.
Because it's on the hotel grounds, you can use their swimming pool and gym. There's a putting green and a croquet lawn too. You can get a discount on golf at their course.
The town is a short walk. There's a pub and restaurant about 500 yards away. A shop is a mile. The coast with the beaches is about three miles.
For days out, Kirkcudbright is the artist's town with galleries and boat trips. Castle Douglas is known for food shops. Cardoness Castle is nearby. The Galloway Forest Park is close for walking and cycling. You can find more on the Forestry and Land Scotland site.
The cottage has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. It takes two dogs. There's a games room and bike storage. You can have a barbecue.
