Kerrim Cottage is in Ringford, a small village in Dumfries and Galloway. It's a terraced cottage, so you've got neighbours either side. The place sleeps four. There's a double bedroom downstairs and a twin upstairs, and one shower room.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and it works. The stairs are a bit steep, which is normal for these cottages.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. You've got the living area and kitchen together. There's a conservatory out the back which is a good spot for eating when the sun's out. It gets the morning light.
In the village, there's a pub about a five minute walk away. They do food. There's no shop, so you'll need to drive for groceries. Kirkcudbright is the nearest proper town, about a 15 minute drive. It's got good shops and cafés along the High Street. Castle Douglas is about 20 minutes away in the other direction, that's where you go for food shops and butchers.
You're well placed for getting out. The Solway Coast is just a few miles west. Sandy beaches and cliffs. Further inland, you've got the Galloway Forest Park for walks. The 7Stanes mountain bike trails are within a 30 minute drive if that's your thing. There's local fishing and golf courses nearby too.
For facilities, you've got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio garden and space to store bikes. No pets allowed.
