The area is good for walking. There's coast and forest nearby. The Galloway Forest Park is about half an hour's drive, if you want proper hills or to go stargazing. It's a Dark Sky Park.
In the apartment, there's a dishwasher and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's no garden, but the bowling green is just there to look at. No pets, sorry.
