The Bullpen is a converted barn on our farm, just outside Stranraer. It's for two people. It's semi-detached, but you have your own entrance and it's private.
It's got one bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. The main room is open plan with a high ceiling, so it feels quite spacious. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's clean and tidy.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle. There's a bit of farm noise sometimes, but it's generally quiet. The town is about a mile away for shops. There's a pub within walking distance, about a mile, that does food.
For beaches, Sandhead is close. Portpatrick is a nice little harbour town, about a 20 minute drive. The coastal walks are good. The RSPB Mull of Galloway is about half an hour away if you like birdwatching.
If you want a day trip, the ferry to Belfast goes from Cairnryan, which is ten minutes down the road. Logan Botanical Garden is worth a visit, it's about 25 minutes drive.
Facilities wise, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's bike storage if you bring them. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
