Park View Cottage
Park View Cottage is in Stranraer, on the main road into town. It's a terraced place, but it's bigger inside than it looks. You're right opposite Agnew Park. You can see the pond and the sea from the front. There's always something going on in the park.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well equipped. It's not a show home, it's a place to come back to after being out.
You've got shops and a couple of places to eat about 150 yards away. The beach is a three minute walk. It's a working harbour town, so it's got what you need.
If you want to explore, the area is good for it. Castle Kennedy Gardens are lovely. Logan Botanic Garden is about a 20 minute drive south, it's full of plants you don't expect to see here. Portpatrick is 8 miles away for a different sort of coast. The Southern Upland Way starts there if you're a serious walker.
Further south, the Mull of Galloway is about 40 minutes by car. It's the very bottom of Scotland. The views are huge. You might see seals.
For facilities, you've got the main things: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's bike storage if you bring them. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them.
