Coachman
This is the Coachman. It's in Portpatrick, down in the far south west of Scotland.
It's a cottage converted from the old stables on the Dunskey estate. There's a cobbled courtyard outside your front door which is yours to use, and you're a few steps from the walled garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One has a big bed and a painted mural on the wall, the other has two singles with a bit of an ornate bed frame. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The living room has the original wood panelling and a fireplace. The kitchen is modern but built into the old range space, so there are some interesting little cupboards. The stairs are fairly standard.
You're about a mile from the beach and the village. Portpatrick has a harbour, a couple of pubs, and places to eat. The shop is in the village. There's a golf course nearby.
For a day out, you can drive down the coast to the Culzean Castle estate, which is about half an hour away. Stranraer is close by for larger shops.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, a cot, wifi, and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible to the ground floor. You can bring up to two dogs.
