Dorn Rock View is a ground floor flat in Portpatrick. It's on a bit of a slope, so you look out over the harbour from the front window. That's the main thing about it.
It sleeps three. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's clean and functional. The living area is all one room, kitchen included. It's a decent size and gets the light from that big window.
You're up the hill from the harbour. It's a five or ten minute walk down. The village wraps around it, with a few pubs and places to eat. There's often something on, like lifeboat week or the folk festival.
If you like walking, the Southern Upland Way starts on the cliffs right there. You can follow the coast path. The sea views are good, you can see Ireland on a clear day. There's a bowling green and putting nearby, and a few golf courses within a short drive.
Further out, the Mull of Galloway is worth the trip. It's the southern tip of Scotland. There are castles and gardens around if that's your thing. Stranraer is about eight miles for bigger shops.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding is included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. It can be booked with the other flats in the building for bigger groups.
