Dorn Rock View is a ground floor flat in Portpatrick. It's on a hill, so you get a good view of the harbour from the front window. The place sleeps two, in one bedroom. The bathroom is ensuite.
It's got a three star rating. That means it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxury. The main room is open plan, with the kitchen and living area together. It's a bright room because of the big bay window.
You can walk down to the harbour in a few minutes. There's usually something going on, like lifeboat week or the folk festival. A few pubs and restaurants there do food. The Southern Upland Way long distance path starts on the cliffs above the harbour. You can pick it up from there.
There's a golf course nearby, and tennis courts. The beach is about a mile away. If you want to drive further, the Mull of Galloway is the most southerly point in Scotland. It's a good trip for a clear day.
Practical stuff: there's parking right outside. Wifi and TV are included. Bedding and towels are provided. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
