This is Braefield, in Portpatrick. It's a big detached house that sleeps fifteen. Seven bedrooms, six bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and well-equipped, not luxurious.
The main thing is the view. You look right over the town and the harbour, straight out to sea. It's a good spot.
The stairs are fine. There's on-site parking. The garden is yours. It's got a patio and a BBQ.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We take two dogs.
Everything in Portpatrick is about five minutes' walk. Shops, a couple of pubs, restaurants. The harbour's there. You can get down to the water.
For walking, the Southern Upland Way goes past nearby. There are cliff-top paths and coastal trails right from the door. You can sea fish from the harbour.
Within about half an hour, you've got Stranraer for the ferry to Ireland if you want a day trip. Wigtown, which is Scotland's book town, is about twenty minutes away. There's a gallery and cafes there. The Bladnoch Distillery is just outside it. There are golf courses at Stranraer and Portpatrick itself.
