Braefield is a big detached house on a hill in Portpatrick. The main thing is the view. You get the whole garden to yourselves and you can see right over the town, the harbour and the sea. It's great for watching the boats.
It sleeps fifteen people. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, which is handy for a group that size. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. Everything works.
There's pubs and shops about five minutes walk down the hill. They're good, local places.
You're right on the Southern Upland Way for walking. The Galloway Hills are inland if you want something more challenging. For a gentler day, you can walk the coast path from the harbour. The area is good for wildlife. You might see red squirrels or deer.
If you want to explore, Wigtown, the book town, is about a half hour drive. There's also the Bladnoch Distillery nearby. Golfers have a few courses within twenty minutes. Sailing and other water sports are available at the local marina or at the Galloway Sailing Centre.
The house has got what you'd need: parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
