The Greenkeeper
The Greenkeeper is a flat on the first floor above our garage in Portpatrick. It looks out over the golf course at the back, and you can see right down to the harbour and the sea from the front. On a clear day, you can see Ireland.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's well looked after. Two of the bedrooms have a view of the sea. One has a small balcony with a table and chairs.
The kitchen is modern and open plan. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything is included, bedding and towels too. There's parking right outside.
The village is a five minute walk downhill. It's a pretty little place built around the harbour. There's a pub and a few places to eat. The cliff path walk is very good. You can fish from the harbour wall.
For a bigger day out, Stranraer is about fifteen minutes' drive. The National Trust for Scotland has sites around Loch Ryan. The Galloway Forest Park is about a forty minute drive if you want proper forests and hills.
No pets, I'm afraid.
