Dinduff Lodge

This is Dinduff Lodge. It's a detached house near Stranraer, on the Rhins of Galloway. The location is quiet, down a track, looking out over fields and Loch Ryan.

It was built in 2020, so everything feels new and works properly. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is on the ground floor, and the front door is level, so it's suitable if someone uses a wheelchair.

The main living area is open plan. Big windows make it bright, and you get the view from the sofa. There's a woodburning stove for colder evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub.

You can walk down to the shore of Loch Ryan in a few minutes. Wig Bay and The Scar are good for a circular walk. You might see seals or terns. The beach at Dally Bay is about half a mile for a proper look at the sea.

Stranraer is three miles away for shops, a pub, and places to eat. There's a lot to do in the area if you like being outside: golf, fishing, cycling. The climate here is mild because of the Gulf Stream, so the gardens like Logan Botanical are worth a visit.

It's a 5 Star property, which in practical terms means it's very well finished and comfortable. You can bring two dogs. All bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right by the house.
