Pine Cottage is in Stoneykirk, near Sandhead. It's a bungalow, so all on one level. You can walk to the beach from here, it's about a mile. The beach is sand and it goes on for miles.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's set up for wheelchair use, with wide doors, grab rails, and an electric bed in one room. The whole place is open plan.
The village has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant, also about a mile away. They're all fine. Portpatrick is a short drive west, it's a pretty harbour village. Stranraer is the main town nearby, about ten minutes by car. They've got a museum and the castle ruins right on the high street.
If you want to walk, the Southern Upland Way starts at Portpatrick. For gardens, Castle Kennedy and Logan Botanic Garden are both worth a trip. The Mull of Galloway is the southernmost point in Scotland. The lighthouse there has great views on a clear day.
The property has its own garden and patio with a BBQ. There's parking right outside. It's got wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
