This is Home Farm - The Farmhouse, near Dunragit in Dumfriesshire. It sleeps eighteen people, so it's for big groups. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, which helps with that many.
The place was all redone a few years ago. It's not a working farm you're staying on, but it is set within the owner's grounds. You get the garden to yourselves.
Inside, the kitchen is big and has a large table for everyone to eat together. There's a separate games room with a pool table. Outside, there's a hot tub.
It's a rural spot. The nearest shop, pub, or restaurant is about six miles away in Stranraer. The coast is about seven miles.
The area is good for walking. There are cliffs, beaches, and forests. The Southern Upland Way runs nearby. For gardens, Glenwhan is very close and Logan Botanical Garden is about a twenty minute drive. The RSPB reserve at the Mull of Galloway is worth a trip if you like birds. It's about forty minutes by car.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The heating and electricity are included.
