Farmhouse

This is the Farmhouse in Dunragit. It’s on our working farm, but you’ve got your own garden and it’s private. It sleeps sixteen people. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, which is handy for a big group.

The place was all modernised a few years ago. The kitchen is big, farmhouse style, with a large table everyone can fit around. There’s a games room with a pool table. The hot tub is in the garden, out the back.

It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are fine. We include all the bedding and towels. There’s parking right here.

You’re about seven miles from the coast. The beaches round here are good, often quiet. The seaside villages like Portpatrick are worth a drive. For a proper walk, the Mull of Galloway is about half an hour’s drive south. The RSPB reserve there is excellent if you like birdwatching.

Stranraer is ten minutes away for shops and places to eat. If you’re into cycling, the 7Stanes trails at Kirroughtree are within half an hour. Golfers have a few courses to choose from, including the county course just up the road.

You can bring up to two dogs. We’ve got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi.
