Wee Dug Hoose

From the road, you go into the kitchen. It's got a wood burner in there. The living room has another one. A real bonus is the sun room out the back. It gets the sun in the evening and looks over the garden and fields.
You're on the outskirts of the hamlet. The coast is a short walk away, maybe a five minute stroll. It's very quiet.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. The listing says up to two pets are allowed.
In terms of facilities, it's got the standard things. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
The area is good for walking. The Galloway Forest Park is close by for cycling and walking trails. It's a Dark Sky Park too, so the stars are very clear on a good night. For gardens, Logan Botanic Garden is worth a visit. The Mull of Galloway lighthouse is about a 25 minute drive south.
If you fancy golf, the Wigtownshire County Golf Club is on Luce Bay, about ten minutes away by car. There's fishing locally, both sea and loch.
