Westwynd is near Dunragit in Southern Scotland. It sleeps eighteen, so it's for a big group. Family things, reunions, that sort.
It's detached. Eight bedrooms, four bathrooms. It was all done up in 2022. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and has things like the pool.
The main thing is the indoor heated swimming pool. It's right off the kitchen through sliding doors. There's a shower room and a sauna there too. The pool area has a mezzanine level above it that leads out to a terrace.
Inside, there's a big living room with full-length windows and doors through to a conservatory. The conservatory has a bar. The kitchen is modern and large, with a big table for everyone.
It's in a quiet spot but only a few miles from Stranraer. Stranraer's a harbour town. You can walk along the front, or go to Agnew Park. The park has a boating lake, a play area, and a putting green. The town has shops and places to eat.
The area is the Rhinns of Galloway. The coastline is rugged with some sandy beaches. Logan Botanical Gardens are well-known and worth a visit. Pretty ports like Portpatrick are a short drive. The Southern Upland Way walking route passes nearby. The RSPB reserve at the Mull of Galloway, the southernmost point in Scotland, is about half an hour's drive for birdwatching.
For facilities: everything you'd expect is included. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a games room, bike storage, and plenty of parking. The garden is enclosed. No pets, I'm afraid.
