Airyhemming Farm is our place near Glenluce. It's a big detached house out in the country, with views over fields towards the Galloway hills. It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms, and there are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen has an Aga, which is great if you like cooking for a crowd. There's a sunroom at the front with good views. The stairs are normal house stairs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog. We allow one pet.
We have a hot tub outside. The property also comes with fishing rights on its own stretch of water. It's for brown trout.
Glenluce village is about two miles away. It's got a shop and a couple of pubs. The coast is about two miles in the other direction. The beaches round here are sandy and often quiet. Stranraer is ten miles away for bigger shops.
For walking, the Southern Upland Way passes close by. The cliffs and the RSPB reserve at the Mull of Galloway are worth a trip. If you cycle, the 7Stanes mountain bike trails are within easy reach. There's a local golf course two miles away.
