Home Farm - The Coo Shed
Home Farm - The Coo Shed is near Dunragit, between Stranraer and Glenluce. It used to be a farm building, but it's been completely done up inside.
It sleeps a lot of people, eighteen across eight bedrooms. There are nine bathrooms, so nobody should have to queue. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's been finished to a high standard.
The main living space is open-plan, kitchen and dining area all together. It's a big room so you can all be in there without being on top of each other. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a separate games room with a pool table.
Outside there's a good-sized, enclosed garden. It has a covered seating area and a private hot tub. You can bring up to two dogs.
The stairs to the first floor are quite wide and open, more like a modern house than a cottage. Just something to be aware of if you have very young children.
You're out in the countryside here, on a working farm. Stranraer is about ten minutes away by car for shops. The coast at Loch Ryan is close. For a day out, the Galloway Forest Park is about half an hour's drive. There's local fishing and a few golf courses nearby, like Stranraer Golf Club.
