The School House New Luce

The School House is in New Luce. It's detached and next to our place, but it's all yours when you're in it. The garden is enclosed.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a woodburning stove, which is lovely when it's cold. The main living space is open plan, so it's good for groups.

There's a shop about 250 yards down the road and a pub about 200 yards away. The pub does food. Another restaurant is about five miles off.

You're right on the Southern Upland Way here, so you can walk straight from the door. The coast is about seven miles away. That's where the good beaches are, like Port William. Stranraer is nine miles for bigger shops.

If you drive for half an hour, you can get to the Mull of Galloway. The RSPB have a reserve there. You can see a lot of seabirds. Sometimes you see dolphins from the cliffs. The lighthouse does tours. It's a RSPB Mull of Galloway reserve.

The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a games room in the outbuilding. Parking on site. You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
