Willow Cottage is in Stoneykirk, Dumfriesshire. It's a detached house, so it's on its own with no neighbours attached. The garden is all yours. There's on site parking.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One is a wet room on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating. It's set up for wheelchair access, with grab rails and an electric bed if you need one. The kitchen worktops are low.
You're about a mile from Sandhead beach. It's a good, sandy beach that goes on for miles. The village has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. They're all about a mile away.
If you want to explore, the Mull of Galloway is worth the drive. It's Scotland's most southerly point and the views are incredible on a clear day. You can see a long way. Portpatrick is nice too, and that's where the Southern Upland Way starts.
Stranraer is the nearest proper town. It's on Loch Ryan and has a museum and an old castle in the middle of the street. Castle Kennedy Gardens are close by if you like formal gardens. For something different, the Galloway Forest Park is a Dark Sky Park, so the stargazing is very good.
In the house, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a BBQ and bike storage.
