It's 4 Mote View, over in Sandhead. It's one of a pair of semi-detached bungalows, built a few years ago. The garden is enclosed. It's quiet here.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one of them is an ensuite. Everything is on one level, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's new and well put together.
The beach is about two minutes walk down the lane. It's a long, sandy beach. There's a pub and a restaurant in the village, and a small shop. The pub does food.
Portpatrick is a ten-minute drive up the coast. Nice harbour. You can get onto the Southern Upland Way from there if you're walking. Further along, The Mull of Galloway is worth the trip. It's Scotland's most southerly point. The views are good on a clear day.
