Fisherman's Cottage is in Stairhaven, right on the shore of Luce Bay. It's just a handful of houses there, really quiet. The cottage was built around 1850 and it was pretty much the first place there.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and there's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The view from the front is straight out over the water to the Rhinns of Galloway. There's a private slipway if you've got a small boat or fancy a swim.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids. There's parking right there. Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included.
You're right on the coast for walking or fishing. There's a local golf course. For a day out, the National Trust Galloway properties are within half an hour or so. The Mull of Galloway lighthouse is about a 40 minute drive. Stranraer is the closest town for bigger shops.
No pets, sorry. It's licensed, number DG00446P.
