Willow Yurt
This is Willow Yurt, near Melplash in Dorset. It's a proper yurt, but it's fully insulated so it's comfortable. Sleeps two, one bedroom with a super king bed. There's a wood burner for heat.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The bathroom is in a separate private cabin a few steps away from the yurt. You get your own deck with an outdoor kitchen on it, and a fire pit. The views from the deck are over the lake and the valley, it's very peaceful.
The yurt has a roof window so you can see the sky from the bed. Two dogs are welcome. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
The site has an orchard and two lakes you can swim in. The local pub is about a fifteen minute walk. Bridport is under four miles away for shops and the market. The coast at Charmouth, for fossil hunting, is about a half hour drive.
We sometimes do wood-fired pizza evenings here, using local stuff. It's £15 for adults if you want to join in.
