Kathali Cottage is in Exmouth town centre, about three streets back from the seafront. It's a small, end-terrace house. It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works and it's kept clean, but it's not a show home.
The main thing is the open-plan living space downstairs. The kitchen is at one end, then there's a table for four, then the sofa and TV. It's all in one room, so it's sociable. The kitchen has what you need to cook a meal. Outside is a small patio area with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the morning.
The beach is a five minute walk. It's a long, sandy beach, good for swimming and walking. The promenade is all the way along it. Exmouth is on the Jurassic Coast, so the cliffs are interesting. The coastal path runs through here. The Exe Estuary is good for birdwatching.
In town, there are cafes, restaurants, and pubs. Most things you'd need are within walking distance. There's a local pub about two minutes away.
For a day out, A La Ronde is a strange and interesting National Trust house about ten minutes drive away. You can get the ferry across to Starcross from the marina, or go up to Topsham. Dartmoor is about a 40 minute drive if you want proper moorland.
The house allows two dogs. There's a washing machine, a TV, WiFi, and all bedding and towels are provided. Parking is on-street nearby, usually fine but can be busy in summer.
