Ash Cottage
This is Ash Cottage. It's a bungalow on a small holiday park called Grange Farm in Maltby le Marsh, Lincolnshire. The place is family-run, quiet, and in the countryside.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a super king bed and a bath with a shower. The other has twin beds and a shower room. Everything is on the ground floor and it's wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp at the back entrance.
Inside is open plan, kitchen, dining, and living area together. It's spacious. The kitchen has a dishwasher and the usual things. Through some French doors at the front is a small enclosed patio area with a table and chairs.
It's dog friendly, two are welcome. There's an on-site laundry room in the courtyard which is useful. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The location is the main thing. You're about ten minutes drive from the coast at Mablethorpe or Skegness. They're classic Lincolnshire seaside towns, with long sandy beaches. Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are close by for walking. They're an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
On site there's a kids' play area and a restaurant that does food and has Wi-Fi. There's a local pub about a fifteen minute walk away. If you're into fishing, there are places nearby you can get a day ticket.
