Walnut Cottage
Walnut Cottage is on Grange Farm Park near Maltby le Marsh. It's a small holiday park, family run. The countryside round here is quiet, proper flat Lincolnshire fields.
The cottage sleeps eight. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, clean and in good order. The kitchen is open plan with the living area, so everyone's together. It's got a solid oak kitchen with a dishwasher and that. All the bedding and towels are included.
Bedroom one is on the ground floor. It's got a super king bed and its own shower room. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. One has a double and a single bed, the other has three singles. The main bathroom is upstairs too, with a bath.
Outside, French doors open onto a courtyard. The laundry room is out there in a shared building in the middle of the courtyard. Handy if you're here for a while.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking right by the cottage.
The coast is about three and a half miles away. Mablethorpe and Skegness are the main beaches, a short drive. For a walk, the Lincolnshire Wolds are close. They're an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There's a restaurant on the park itself that does food and has Wi-Fi. The park is peaceful, it's not a big noisy place.
If you're looking for things to do further out, Lincoln is about an hour's drive. Historic city, good cathedral. Gunby Hall is a National Trust place, about half an hour away. For the coast, Visit Lincolnshire has details on the beaches.
