4 Dawson Court

4 Dawson Court is on a little private estate of holiday homes in Mablethorpe. It's a bungalow, so no stairs, which makes things easier. The whole place is on one level and the front door is wheelchair accessible. You get your own enclosed garden. It's paved and mostly lawn, just a place to sit out.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. You can bring one dog.

It's about five minutes walk to the beach. The sand is good, very flat. It's a classic east coast resort, so there's a fair, amusements, that sort of thing. The Queens Park with the paddling pools is nearby. There's a shop and a couple of pubs about the same distance.

If you drive south for ten or fifteen minutes, you get to Sutton-on-Sea and Sandilands. More quiet beaches and good walks along the front. The Sandilands golf course is just down there.

A bit further south, maybe twenty-five minutes, you're at Fantasy Island and Butlins near Skegness. Skegness itself has the big funfair and the Embassy Theatre. To the north, about a thirty minute drive, is Donna Nook. The seal sanctuary and breeding grounds are there. It gets very busy in the breeding season, but it's something to see. Usually a thousand pups born there each year.
