The Dovecote Annex is in the garden of the main house where I live. It's in a quiet street in Mablethorpe. A couple will be comfortable here.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's modern and accessible, not an old cottage. The entrance and shower are wheelchair friendly. It's all on one level.
You've got your own enclosed patio looking out onto the garden. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included.
Mablethorpe centre and the beach are about a mile away. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town. There's a shop and a pub the same distance.
If you're driving, you've got a lot of coast to explore within half an hour. Sutton on Sea and Chapel St Leonards are smaller resorts. Sandilands has the coloured beach huts. At certain times of year, you can see the seals at Donna Nook. Skegness and Butlins are that way too for a bigger day out.
Inland, the market towns of Alford and Louth are worth a trip. Louth in particular has a nice high street.
The annex is named after the dovecote in the garden. You can sometimes see the birds from the conservatory.
