This is Dawson Park 6. It’s one of a group of holiday homes just outside Mablethorpe, a few minutes walk from the beach.
The house sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level so it’s suitable for wheelchairs, and the doorways are wide enough. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've brought a dog. You can bring one dog.
Mablethorpe itself is a traditional seaside town. There’s a long sandy beach, fairground rides, amusements, and a park with paddling pools. It’s all very straightforward family holiday stuff. The high street has the usual shops, cafes, and a few pubs. You won’t struggle for fish and chips.
If you drive south along the coast for about half an hour, you’ll get to Skegness. That’s where the bigger attractions are, like Fantasy Island and Butlin’s. North up the coast, about a 25 minute drive, is Donna Nook. It’s a nature reserve where grey seals come to have their pups in the winter. The Lincolnshire Wolds are inland if you fancy a change from the coast. They’re about a 20 minute drive for some good walking.
Inside, it has what you’d expect: a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
