1 Dawson Court

This place is 1 Dawson Court. It's in Mablethorpe, on the Lincolnshire coast. They're bungalows built for holiday lets, so everything is on one level and it's very private.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Because it's a bungalow, the doors are wide and there are no steps at the entrance, so it's good if you have mobility issues or a pushchair.

You've got your own enclosed garden. It's lawned, with a patio area. You can just sit out there. It's quiet.

The beach is about a five minute walk away. It's a proper sandy beach, very flat. Mablethorpe itself is a classic British seaside town. There's a fairground, amusements, fish and chips, the lot. It's all very close. The local shop and a pub are about the same distance as the beach.

If you drive south for about twenty minutes, you get to Skegness. That's where the bigger attractions are, like Fantasy Island and Butlins. To the north, maybe thirty minutes, is Donna Nook. The seal colony is there and you can see the pups on the beach in the breeding season, usually November and December. It gets busy.

There's a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.

For more information about the area, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust looks after Donna Nook and other reserves. The Lincolnshire Wolds are inland if you fancy a change from the coast.
