The Potting Shed is in Ailby, which is a hamlet just outside Alford. It's a single-storey place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It was a proper garden potting shed originally, so it's cosy. It's all on the ground level and everything's flat, so it's accessible if that's a priority.
You get the building and the garden to yourselves. It's quiet here. The garden looks out over fields. You can walk straight out from the door onto paths in the Wolds.
The living area is open plan. It's got a kitchenette, a sofa, a table, and the bed's through an archway. There's a TV and WiFi. The shower is a walk-in one. All the bedding and towels are here for you. Parking is right outside.
You can bring two dogs. There are good walks from the door if you have them.
Alford is about two miles away. It's a proper market town with shops, a couple of supermarkets, and a windmill. The coast at Mablethorpe is about nine miles, so twenty minutes in the car. Skegness is a bit further. If you want to go walking, the Lincolnshire Wolds website has maps and routes. The National Trust has a few places nearby too, like Gunby Hall.
The electric and heating are all included. There’s no washing machine in the Shed itself, but we can arrange for you to use one if you need to.
