Daffodil Cottage

The moment you enter this charming property you step into a welcoming open plan living/dining area, the thick brick walls and exposed stonework show some of the cottages age and history. Moving through into a good sized the kitchen area which is a well-appointed with all the amenities you need to prepare anything from a picnic to a full family meal. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 offer double beds and the third bedroom is a single room. The accommodation is completed with a family bathroom with walk in shower. Outside to the front of the cottage is a patio area with furniture so you can sit outside on those warm summer evenings and watch the gentle pace of life pass by with a glass of your favourite beverage in hand.
Little Urswick is a quiet village nestled in the hills of the Furness peninsular, within 5 minutes’ drive you arrive in the lovely market town of Ulverston, the birthplace of Stan Laurel, half of the legendary duo of Laurel & Hardy. Ulverston offers a unique blend of attractions from the Laurel & Hardy Museum, nestled beneath the retro “Roxy” cinema to cobbled streets with a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants offering food from around the globe.
Half an hour’s drive, and you can access a lot of the Lakes attractions such as the iconic Lake Windermere itself. Sports enthusiasts are spoilt with a wealth of options from walking, cycling and climbing through to water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing. Family attractions range from the aquarium to the wildlife safari zoo, high ropes adventures at Go-ape, Escape rooms, The world of Beatrix Potter attraction or off roading on Segway’s. For more sedate past times there are museums, such as the Motor Museum, stately homes and castles, theatres and National trust attractions and gardens.
