This beautiful mid- terrace cottage offers a delightful stay in the charming market town of Helmsley which is full of history, character, and stunning architecture. The cottage has been stylishly decorated and furnished giving you that lovely home from home feeling, no expense has been spared by the owners. Ferne Cottage offers small families, couples, and friends a luxury holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the North Yorks Moors has to offer.
The living space is open plan throughout the ground floor which has a fully equipped, well-presented kitchen for all your culinary needs should you not wish to dine at the many eateries on your doorstep with a lovely breakfast bar for you to sit and get energised for the day ahead. A comfortable, cosy sitting area which boasts a Smart TV gives you a perfect area to sit and relax in after a day’s exploring.
On the first floor you have the master bedroom with a comfy plush kingsize bed and the second bedroom which offers a small 4ft double, both with luxury linen for a perfect night’s sleep. On the same floor there is the lovely bathroom with a shower over bath and a Heated towel rail. To the rear of the property is a charming patio area with garden furniture, the peaceful surroundings offer a fantastic place to sit and have a drink alfresco style in the warm summer months. With the cottage situated within walking distance to the heart of Helmsley, the local pubs, restaurants, shops, and Helmsley Brewery are within easy reach.
You can explore the stunning North York Moors National Park, which is full of bike trails and fantastic, scenic walks. Including the very popular Rievaulx Abbey. Nearby towns include Malton, Pickering, Thirsk and York . Or if you fancied a day at the beach Scarborough and Whitby are only approximately a 50-minute drive away.
