Melody's Beach Lodge is a chalet in Chapel St Leonards. It's on a quiet park about a twenty minute walk from the beach. You get the place to yourselves. It's detached, so you won't hear neighbours through the walls.
It sleeps six, but that's two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. One double room, one twin. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so it's clean and everything works properly. The air con is handy in summer.
The park is quiet and family-run. There's a private patio with chairs. You can park right outside.
Chapel is a proper old-school seaside village. Fish and chips, arcades, a few pubs. It's all about a mile away. The beach is sandy and wide. Good for a long walk.
Skegness is about fifteen minutes south by car if you want more going on. The pier, an aquarium, that sort of thing. If you want it quieter, head north up the coast to Anderby Creek.
Facilities wise: there's the TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets. The kitchen has what you need.
For local information, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust site is good, especially for the North Sea Observatory nearby. The Lincolnshire coast and countryside page has walking routes.
