Beach Oasis Cottage
This is Beach Oasis Cottage in Margate. It's a two-bedroom place, sleeps four, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is in town, about a ten minute walk from the main beach. You can hear the seagulls. It has a small, enclosed garden out the back with a table, chairs and a barbecue. It’s private.
Inside, it's straightforward. Two bedrooms, one double and one with twins. The stairs are a bit steep, like a lot of these old houses. Everything’s clean and works. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Margate itself is all around you. The Turner Contemporary gallery is a five minute walk away, right on the seafront. The Old Town has interesting shops and places to eat. Dreamland is just down the road if you fancy that.
For a longer walk, the Viking Coastal Trail starts nearby. You can follow it to Botany Bay or Broadstairs. Broadstairs is about a twenty minute drive and feels quieter. Ramsgate is about fifteen minutes in the other direction.
