Blue Cottage is on a terraced street in Broadstairs. It's a three minute walk from the station and about the same to the High Street. The beach is about eight minutes away if you walk down.
It's a Victorian terraced house, so it's tall and narrow. Sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. The stairs are fairly steep, as you'd expect.
The living room and dining area are open plan on the ground floor. There's a gas fire that looks like coal. The kitchen is compact but has a proper oven and hob. The floors are the original wooden boards.
You're very close to everything. The nearest shop is a minute away. There's a pub about 90 yards from the door. Viking Bay beach has sand, beach huts, and the usual seaside things in summer.
Broadstairs itself is a classic seaside town. Lots of places to eat on the High Street, including a few fish and chip shops. You can walk along the coast to other bays like Botany Bay and Joss Bay, which are good for surfing. Ramsgate and Margate are a short drive away.
For a day out, you can get the train to London in about an hour and a half. Or head inland to places like Canterbury.
What's included: all the utilities, WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels. There's no garden, but you're so close to the sea it doesn't matter much. Sorry, no pets.
