Blue Cottage
Blue Cottage is in Broadstairs, Kent. It's a Victorian terrace cottage, one of a row. It's about a three minute walk from the station.
The cottage sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The stairs are standard for a cottage of this age.
It's just off the top of the High Street, so you're very close to things. The nearest shop is about a minute's walk. There's a pub about 90 yards away. Viking Bay beach is about an eight minute walk down the High Street. It's a sandy beach with beach huts and the usual seaside things in summer.
The High Street has a lot of restaurants and cafes, including a few fish and chip shops. You won't struggle for places to eat.
Inside, it's got original wooden floors. The living area is open plan with a dining table and a gas fire that looks like a Victorian coal fire. The kitchen is small but has a decent oven and hob. The bathroom upstairs has seagrass tiles. The three bedrooms are two doubles and a single.
Facilities include a TV, WiFi, and all bedding and towels. The utilities are included in the price. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips out, the Visit Kent site is useful. For historical places, English Heritage South East has a list. Ramsgate and Margate are both within a twenty minute drive. You can get the train to London from Broadstairs in about an hour and a half.
