Star Of The Sea

It's called Star Of The Sea and it's on Cliff Road in Broadstairs. The main beach, Viking Bay, is basically at the end of the road. You can see the harbour and the pier from the front windows.

It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy with a group. It's rated 5 Star, so it's well-finished and everything is in good order.

The layout works for a family by the sea. There's a little shower point by the back door to rinse off sand. The kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need. The garden is enclosed and private.

You're right in the middle of things. The beach, cafes, mini golf, and arcades are a minute's walk. It's on the quieter, eastern side of Broadstairs though, so it's not too hectic.

You can walk into the town centre easily. Ramsgate is about ten minutes by car, and Margate is about twenty. For a longer day out, the English Heritage sites like Deal Castle or Dover Castle are within half an hour. Canterbury is about thirty minutes inland.

Facilities: Broadband, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
