Ivy Cottage
Ivy Cottage is on Westgate to Margate road, set back a bit from the sea. It's a terraced house. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's been done up nicely.
Inside, there's a living room with an open fire. The dining room is separate. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. One bedroom is a double, the other has twin beds. There's also a small z-bed for a child in the twin room if you need it.
Outside, there's a lawned garden with a sitting area. You can park on site.
You're about a five minute walk from the beach. Westgate station is close if you need it. There's a local pub nearby.
Margate is a short drive or a decent walk along the coast. The Old Town has galleries and shops. The Turner Contemporary is there. Dreamland is the amusement park if you fancy that.
For beaches, Botany Bay is good, about ten minutes by car. You can walk or cycle the Viking Coastal Trail from here. Whitstable and Broadstairs are both within a twenty minute drive. Canterbury is about half an hour away.
A cot and highchair are here if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
