Ivy Cottage
This is Ivy Cottage in Margate. It's one house in a terrace, set a little back from the road to Westgate. The beaches are about a five minute walk away. It's been refurbished.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not huge but enough.
There's a small patio and garden area for you. Parking is on the site. Inside, you've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The closest shop, pub, and restaurant are the same five minute walk as the beach. The local leisure centre, with a gym and indoor pool, is about ten minutes away by car.
Margate itself is a couple of miles down the coast. The Turner Contemporary gallery is there. You can walk the Viking Coastal Trail from Westgate right around to Broadstairs. Broadstairs and Whitstable are both easy drives, maybe twenty minutes. Canterbury is about half an hour by car.
