Hideaway Cottage
Hideaway Cottage is in Broadstairs, Kent. It's a detached bungalow, all on the ground floor. The garden is enclosed and lawned, with a patio area and furniture. You can see the sea from the front, but you're not right on the beach.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. The garden is secure for that. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the driveway.
The local beach is about a five minute walk. There's a shop about ten minutes away, and a couple of pubs and restaurants within walking distance too.
Broadstairs itself is nice. Viking Bay has the main beach and a promenade. Folk Week in the summer is busy and good fun if you like that sort of thing. North Foreland Golf Club is a mile away if you play.
You can drive to Margate in about fifteen minutes. The Turner Contemporary gallery is there, and Dreamland if you've got kids. Canterbury is about half an hour away for the cathedral and the old city. If you're thinking of a day trip to France, the ferry port at Dover is roughly a forty-five minute drive.
