This is the Old Parish Hall in Ramsgate. It used to be a church hall. It's been completely done up inside, so it feels new and clean. It sleeps six across three bedrooms and there's two bathrooms.
When you walk in, the main room is huge with a high ceiling. That's the open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped. There's a solid oak spiral staircase that goes up to the bedrooms. It's a proper feature, but it's a spiral staircase, so just be aware if you've got luggage or small children. The stairs are fine, they're just spiral.
It's in a residential street. You can walk to the main sandy beach in about ten minutes. Ramsgate centre is the same sort of distance, maybe fifteen minutes. There are pubs, restaurants, and the Royal Harbour there. The nearest pub is about a mile away.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and a patio with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
If you want to explore, you're right in the middle of Thanet. Broadstairs is ten minutes by car, Margate is about fifteen. There's a golf course nearby. The English Heritage site at Richborough Roman Fort is about twenty minutes' drive. You can get to Canterbury in under half an hour if you fancy the cathedral or shopping. The National Trust has a few properties in East Kent, like Emmetts Garden, which is just over half an hour away.
