The Old Parish Hall is in Ramsgate, on Royal Road. It's an old church hall we've done up. You come in through these big oak doors into a big hall with a high ceiling. It feels a lot bigger inside than it looks.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable, everything's new, and it's clean. The stairs are a solid oak spiral staircase. They're quite steep and open, so you need to be careful on them. Not great for very young kids or if you have mobility issues.
You've got a patio out the back with a barbecue. Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, all the usual stuff. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The beach is about a ten minute walk. Ramsgate Main Sands is the one. The Royal Harbour and the town centre are the same sort of distance. Plenty of places to eat and drink. There's a pub about a mile away.
For days out, you're right in the middle of Thanet. Broadstairs is ten minutes in the car, Margate about fifteen. The Old Town in Margate has the Turner Contemporary gallery. For history, you've got Richborough Roman Fort about twenty minutes drive. The National Trust has places like South Foreland Lighthouse near Dover, which is about half an hour.
