The Coach House is on our farm, right near Sandwich Bay. It's a barn we converted, so the ceilings are high and the main room is big. It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. There's a wood burner for winter and the garden is enclosed. You can bring one dog.
It's a working farm, so you'll see us and the animals about. The beach is about a fifteen minute walk. It's private, so normally you'd pay to get in, but that's waived for guests. The Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory is next door if you're into that.
The town of Sandwich is two miles away. It's a quiet medieval town. There are shops, a few pubs, and places to eat. The train station there gets you to London in about an hour and twenty minutes. You can get to Dover or Folkestone for the ferries or Eurotunnel in about half an hour.
There are three championship golf courses very close by, including Royal St George's. For walking, you're on the coast. You can follow the beach or paths through the estate. Further out, places like Canterbury, Deal, or Ramsgate are within a half hour drive.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. The property is wheelchair accessible and has a walk-in shower. Bedding and towels are included.
